По определению, если ты что-то рекламируешь, как незаинтересованное лицо, то это не реклама, а PR :)
О том, как к PR относятся люди могу процетировать из своего ресерч пропозала (во, как я тперь выпендрится могу!):
Social influence has been extensively studied by researchers in the field of psychology. According to Deutsch and Gerard (1955) there are two types of social influence: normative and informational. Informational influence refers to acceptance of information received by others as evidence of reality. It is motivated by the desire to be correct and to achieve subjective validity to ones beliefs when influencers are perceived to be similar, trustworthy, credible, etc. Normative influence refers to conforming to the expectations of another person or group, in order to obtain a favorable reaction (Deutsch and Gerard, 1955). It is motivated by one’s desire to be socially accepted and approved, and to avoid rejection and hostility. Studies by Kelman (1961) and Deutsch and Gerard (1955) suggested that we accept influence from individuals who are similar to us, who we like and want to be close to. We even adhere to the choices and consumption preferences of a person from a positive reference group (McFerran et al., 2010). In contrast, we reject influence by those we dislike or do not want to be mistaken for (Kellley, 1952; McFerran et al., 2010). However, the literature does not say much about social influence by individuals whose identity is not known. From the point of view of the reference group theory, it is not clear if an unidentified other influences us at all. Even if it does, it is not clear in what direction this influence is.
Так что, как -то так...Ну и я в том числе, также подвержена Social influence. Если захочешь - посвящу тебя в дебри эксперемента, который успешно прошол и подтверлил гипотезы.
